To The Embassy

Much has happened since my last post. We met with our agency and had everything notarized last Thursday. A couple of forms needed to be redone- missing dates, or something.
When we got home that night the BCIS form was there!!! Ah that "Golden Ticket".
Jamie got all the forms that needed to be redone (2 Medicals and an Employment Letter) done and he dropped EVERYTHING off to the Agency.
As soon as the agency gets it authenticated by the Chinese Embassy it is ready to go to China!
We are so excited!
We are praying that it will go smoothly.
Lots of Love,
Mary

Notary

I got a call from the Agency this weekend and we have set up a notarization appointment for March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) to do all of our documents. So everyone please pray that we have our I797 back from BCIS by then- it would be great to send everything off together to the Chinese Embassy to be authenticated. I still need to have a few more options for pictures for the dossier- but other than that I think we are done- famous last words. This is the point where everyone knocks on wood for me.
We are meeting in DC- that way we can skip a step of the process and not go through Maryland first (I am up for anything that speeds this along!).
Lots of Love,
Mary

BCIS Update

I called BCIS today- and they are in possession of our Homestudy- so they should be sending out the final document we need to adopt in the next couple of weeks. YIPEE!
Then onto authentication and certification!
